Utility Research Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at utilityresearchlabs.com and to apps we publish on the Apple App Store, unless a specific app provides its own privacy notice.
Our principles
- We collect as little personal data as possible.
- We never sell your personal data.
- We use Apple's platform privacy features (such as App Tracking Transparency) and follow App Store guidelines.
Information we collect
Information you provide. If you contact us by email we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
App data. Where applicable, our apps may store data locally on your device or in your private iCloud account. Each app's App Store listing includes a Privacy Nutrition Label describing the data, if any, that the app collects.
Diagnostics. If you opt in via Apple's system-level setting, Apple may share anonymous crash and usage analytics with us to help diagnose problems. We do not receive personally identifiable information through this channel.
Website. Our website is a static site and does not set tracking cookies or run third-party analytics by default. Standard server logs may temporarily record IP addresses for security and debugging.
How we use information
- To respond to support and other inquiries you send us.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve our apps.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers who assist us (for example, email hosting), or when required by law. Apple receives certain transaction information when you purchase an app; please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Data retention
We keep correspondence only as long as needed to provide support and meet our legal obligations. Diagnostic data is retained no longer than reasonably necessary to identify and fix issues.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Children
Our apps and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
International users
We may process your information outside of your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect your information.
